PLAY THERAPY

A therapeutic space where play, emotion, and technology come together to support child development…

At NeuroKids, Play Therapy is a therapeutic and psychoeducational approach that integrates principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), psychoeducation, and interactive play-based technology. Through play, children can express emotions, build social and cognitive skills, improve self-regulation, and strengthen executive functions such as attention, memory, and flexibility.

Play becomes the natural medium through which children communicate and learn. In our sessions, we blend traditional play with innovative digital tools (augmented reality, interactive apps, and therapeutic digital platforms) to enhance engagement and learning. This makes therapy enjoyable and highly effective—especially for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, or emotional regulation challenges.

Goals of Play Therapy

Integration with ABA and Psychoeducational Approaches

At NeuroKids, Play Therapy goes beyond entertainment. Each session aligns with therapeutic objectives using ABA strategies to shape desired behaviors, reinforce positive actions, and build functional skills through play. Psychoeducational principles are also applied to help children and families understand emotions, routines, and everyday challenges.

Technology in Play Therapy

Innovation and technology are core elements of our program. We use interactive applications and gamified platforms to encourage empathy, collaboration, and emotional learning. Through augmented reality and digital therapeutic experiences, children safely explore social and emotional skills while transferring learning to real-life contexts.
